Refugee's Dream

apathetic child, (traumatic nightmares
blued his nights, deep dark)
trying hard to be insomniac.
'twas no adorable.

dulcet stormy sky, sound pollution,
revelry dirty echoes encompass'd him.
felicity grew shorter. solar eclipse!
slayed his brave dialogue (so cried he).

he telescoped the seventh mountain.
he then wanted to kiss its pinnacle,
switch'd on his voyage.
even fears taunted him to cease.

he abandon'd
the bizarre place.

crowds were thunderstruck
whence he reach'd the famous zenith
like a helium balloon
for there were monsters
said the wicked prophet.

there kaleidoscope is thick air.
dusk dances like fire and flame.
stars twinkled in his glazed eyes.
he was made asleep by grooving breeze bosom.

then he dream'd a brazen, iron wings
cling'd to his shoulder blades
saving him from peril.
his dream, razed and hazed; eyes were open'd
as titanic, morning star arrived

he felt down in dumps (so cried he)
for he can't have wings.
out of blue, divine power whispered:
"cry not my child, smell the triumphant air's scent
thou saved thy soul"

inklings fail'd him why.
at mountain's bottom, he look'd,
skyscrapers, towns, crowds,
bizarre place - shipwerck.
all shatter'd by Holy Tsunami

he's ne'er now clueless
saying, dream come true!
he meets new silver friends
like him
 like me
 the refugee.
